Tear It Up- "Nothing to Nothing"

9.5/10

This is probably on my top 10 favorite hardcore/punk records of all time. Tear It Up, who have since broke up since putting this out in 2002, were one of new jerseys best bands of the past decade. Every song is fast, angry, and flows in to the next before you even know what happened. A lot of bands try to (poorly) imitate Tear It Up's sound, but it usually just comes off cheesy and overall bad. If you like fast hardcore and you haven't listened to this yet, do yourself a favor.

Title Fight- "The Last Thing You Forget"

8.5/10

Title Fight are a pop punk band from Kingston, PA. I first heard them last year around this time when they had their 3 song 7inch titled "Kingston" and I was really in to it, but hadn't heard much from them after that. Then after United Blood fest this year, It seems they blew up overnight. I picked up their full length "The Last Thing You Forget" a few days ago, and it's been on pretty constant rotation. It reminds me a lot of Saves The Day and Lifetime, but in it's own unique way. Title Fight is on tour now and will be most of this summer. Be sure to check them out near you and at Sound and Fury this summer. Pick up their CD as well!
